P&A 2011

Sunday was my very last Parents & Achievement Day. Sad day in Alpha Gam land :(...I was awarded the Carola Kelly Award witch is basically the Mama Squirrel Award (the person that has made the most impact on the New Girls) :) I WAS VERY EXCITED!!!!! The Alpha Grammy Awards are given to the Sr. Alpha Gams as an "inside joke"...well Mine was a phrase I guess my friends think I say all the time!!! :) My Alpha Grammy Award was the "This, That, and The Other Squirrel"...guess that fits me well!

For my SISTERS PC'07

These past 4 years have gone by so fast! It seems like just yesterday I was running to the Alpha Gam house with about 30 girls that I barely knew. BABY SQUIRREL :) As our mama squirrel (ABBY) and all the other Sisters greeted us with HUGE smiles and hugs I knew right then that ALPHA GAM was the best choice for me!!! That day I have to say a gained a TON of new BEST FRIENDS!! Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have become so close to my pledge sisters...BUT through all the swaps, socials, meetings, and PLEDGE RETREAT...that’s exactly what happened...we all became SOOO close!! Through these past few years we have been through so much Happy, Sad, WINS and Losses, we gained a few sprinf of 07, some have left (to go to other colleges), ENGAGEMENTS and even Marriages!! :)
NOW its time for our last BIG PLEDGE CLASS PARTY before everyone GRADUATES or get MARRIED! This weekend is our PLEDGE Class ’07 beach trip to
GULF SHORES… we are going down this Friday to hang out and spend time with each other Saturday we will all be going to hang out on a 60 ft boat ALL DAY then eat at Lianas parents restaurant Saturday night and more hanging out on the beach Sunday!!!! I am so excited to be able to spend this last FUN filled weekend with my SISTER who have been here through my whole college experience!!!
I know that I talked in my last post about how the Lord has blessed me in so many…WELL the LORD truly blessed me by putting these girls in my life! I never really took the time to notice how much of an impact my PLEDGE SISTERS have made in my life BUT it was a HUGE one! Through Rush, New Girls, Date Parties, Pledge Class Parties, Football games, Moves, Break ups, New Relationships, Engagements, and Graduations we have all been here for each other…I have to say I think the pledge class of ’07 has pretty much been through it all and most of us have stuck it out!!:) I pray that each and every one of you continue to have very successful lives, and when it comes to getting into another school or getting your first job that the Lord may bless you with JUST WHAT YOU NEED and that it will make you super happy...and for those of you who are getting married and the marriages to come I pray that you and your MAN will have a LONG and Lasting marriage and  that he will treat you right ALWAYS (if not come see me ill take care of it ;) I love each and every one of you with all of my HEART!!!!!

ITS BEEN A WHILE SINCE MY LAST POST...SORRY!! :(

The past month I have seen GOD work in ways I have NEVER seen/felt in my WHOLE LIFE!!(IT AMAZING) I have started to realize lately that I take a lot of things for granted and that the LORD has truly BLESSED me in so many ways! He has given me the most AMAZING FAMILY AND FRIENDS just to name two!

This week has been a HARD HARD week..We lost a Sorority Sister and Dear Sweet Friend and a SWEET SWEET little baby BOY..Brittany was an Amazing and Beautiful Mother, Daughter, Sister, and Wife that went to be with the LORD Monday along with her SWEET little baby Boy Shep!They will truly be missed by everyone that knew them..I pray so HARD for

CLINT and their families! The GOOD LORD has two BEAUTIFUL angels SHEP & BRITTANY!

These photos just break my HEART...Clint, Brittany, & Shep were such a cute, loving, Christian family! Everyone questions..why  did this have to happen to such a wonderful young mother and child? But I truly believe the Lord had a reason for both of them to live such short lives...I believe that both of these lives were lived to the fullest and Both of them made an impact in so many other peoples lives!!!! RIP Brittany and Shep

Its crazy to say all the people in these pictures are MOST of my closest friends from K-5 till now....

In highschool there was not a day/night we were not ALL together...then college came along and we all split our ways...some stayed in Troy some went to Auburn and ONE went to Alabama...even though we moved miles and miles away we still all have a very close bond that a lot of people wish they had!!

I would have to say that Amy and I have been through just about everything through all of our highschool crazyness i thought that was enough for a LIFETIME....BUT we have now been living together for 4 ShOrT years. In our 4 years we have only moved 4 times haha soundslike a lot but we have had soooo much fun through all our moves and all our CRAZY houses :)

and now Amy, Suzanne and I all live together. After all the years we finally got old SUZZY to move back to Troy and we are having the time of our lives for the short time we have left in College!!!

Ok so I was looking at a friends blog and she was doing a 30 Day blog challenge so...since I just started blogging and Im still trying to get used to it...Im gonna try this and see if I can keep it up!

My day was pretty good...I have had a LoNg day at work 8am - 3pm now im about to go teach clogging from 3:15-7:30 ahhh tonight might just be a Little CRAZY!!!! Im saying a few prayers that my nerves can take all these cute little girls!! :)

****THE GOOD OLD DAYS***

OH THE GOOD DAYS...NOT to say I am not enjoying these days...BUT it used to be great having my mom and sister get me all dressed up for a dance recital... even as I got older and started clogging and could get myself ready these were my favorite nights when I could get on stage, be in the spot light, and have all my family and friends there supporting me! It crazy how as we grow up and people fade in and out of our lives but there are those certain few People  that have ALWAYS been there for you! :)

Enjoy yourself. These are the good old days you're going to miss in the years ahead.

MY FIRST POST

So I am on some kind of kick and I have decided to pick up some new hobbies!! Sewing and figuring out this whole blog thing would be only 2 of my new found hobbies!! :) Lets see how this works out! OH YEA and we are having an engagement party for one of my BEST FRIENDS  and i have gotten all the decorations together so I guess thats another recent fun hobby/activity I have enjoyed working one!!!!! :)
